About RR Guitar Shop

RR Guitar Shop is a guitar shop and lutherie workshop in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal. It sells second-hand guitars and basses, assessed and set up in its own workshop, and does setups, fretwork, electronics and repairs for guitars, basses and other string instruments.

It is built for musicians looking for distinctive instruments, honest advice and real care for their gear: lutherie, sale, trade and trade-in of good instruments, and fairly priced accessories, all in one place.

Before it was a workshop, it was a passion

I have collected guitars and basses for many years — at one point more than 20 at once. Every instrument that passed through my hands was a lesson: take apart, adjust, repair and fine-tune until it sounded and felt exactly right.

I treat lutherie the way it should be: diagnosis first, method always, and the same care for every customer's instrument that I always had for my own as a collector.
